Hayley Cakes and Cookies **Lead Baker/South Austin/Brodie Lane** ***Come join our growing and fun bakery team at our kitchen and retail location in South Austin!*** We are looking for a team player with a great attitude for our Kitchen in South Austin, TX. The successful candidate will need the following. **Experience and Skill level:** * Experience working in the scratch a bakery or bakery department of a larger store (experience making batters, cookies and cakes. * Preferably bilingual English and Spanish * Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger corporate group * Ability to follow existing recipes * Ability to lift 50lbs. **Responsibilities will include:** * Prepare scratch made recipes * Make a daily prep list * Coordinate orders for pick up * Maintain quality checks on an ongoing basis * Serve as back\-up as needed if other staff is out **The hours for this position will be as follows:** Monday – Friday 7 am – 3:00 pm Occasional Saturdays during busy season Saturday and Sunday OFF The salary range for this position will be $18\-$20 per hour DOE paid on a biweekly basis.
