Job description
**Job Overview**
StillCare Services is a private\-pay, non\-medical home care agency serving seniors and recovering adults across North Dallas, including Frisco, Prosper, McKinney, Allen, Plano, and Celina. Our promise to families is calm, intentional care that holds, and it starts with who we hire. We hire for character first and train for competency second.
As a Personal Care Aide / Home Care Giver, you will be the steady presence in a client's home, supporting daily living, protecting dignity, and making recovery or aging in place feel safe and unhurried. Many of our clients are seniors, adults living with dementia or memory loss, or adults recovering at home after a hospital stay.
**What You Will Do**
* Assist clients with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and safe transfers and mobility support
* Provide medication reminders and assistance with self\-administered medication only; we are a non\-medical agency and caregivers never administer medication
* Prepare meals that follow each client's dietary plan, with careful attention to food safety and expiration dates
* Notice changes in a client's condition, mood, or routine and report them promptly to the office
* Keep the client's living space clean, safe, and comfortable through light housekeeping
* Offer genuine companionship and emotional support that reduces isolation
* Drive clients to medical appointments and errands when the care plan includes transportation
* Follow each written care plan exactly, including any client\-specific infection prevention protocols, and protect client privacy under HIPAA at all times
**What We Are Looking For**
* Experience in home care, assisted living, memory care, or hospice settings is strongly preferred
* Experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, or post\-hospital recovery care is a plus
* CPR and First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain before start)
* Physically able to assist safely with transfers and mobility suppor
