Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant Job Description Summary: Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in an adult primary care office. **Work Schedule:** Monday \-Friday 8 A.M. – 5P.M. with lunch break from 12\-1 P.M. Responsibilities: * Work under the supervision of the provider in providing patient care * Perform clinical skills to include patient intake, vital signs, EKG, and spirometry in addition to specimen collection. * Maintain equipment and medical supplies, including inventory, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Responsible for cleaning clinic examination/patient areas and stocking rooms. * Communicate with other staff/outside facilities and document patient concerns in the EHR. * Work within scope of their assigned duties in a friendly and moderately paced small family practice setting. Requirements: * High School diploma or GED * Registered or Certified Medical Assistant required within 60 days of hire. * Minimum experience: None required * A positive attitude that goes well with our family\-oriented practice. The pay range: **$18\.00 \- $19\.00 / hour**. Pay is dependent on the applicant's relevant experience. All employees begin with 2 weeks of annual paid time off in addition to an average of 7 days of paid holiday time off. An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
