Registered Medical Assistant (FM)

Overview: The RMA is responsible for providing direct or indirect care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic Medical Assistant principals, practices and ethics; participates in the organization and management of the physician's practice. **Responsibilities:** * Assist physician in setting up for procedures and exams, revising daily schedules; obtaining charts and charge tickets, locating lab tests and X\-ray reports * Ensure that patient chart/EMR entries are made accurately and in a timely manner * Contact pharmacy to order new and refill prescriptions; notify patient; document appropriately * Notify hospital or personnel of physician's orders * Triage patients to ensure productive departmental flow **Qualifications:*** High school diploma or GED * 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training * RMA certification **About MANA Family Medicine North** MANA Family Medicine North is home to a team of four Physicians who strive to provide comprehensive healthcare for every member of the family at all stages of life.
