**Key Responsibilities**
* Welcome patients and visitors with a warm, professional, and compassionate attitude.
* Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate team members.
* Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments while maintaining an accurate office calendar.
* Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits, and assist patients with billing and payment questions.
* Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring strict compliance with HIPAA privacy and confidentiality standards.
* Provide administrative support, including filing, scanning, faxing, and managing office correspondence.
* Assist with general office operations, including ordering supplies and supporting clinical staff with non\-clinical tasks such as instrument sterilization when needed.
* Communicate effectively with patients to ensure a positive and seamless experience from check\-in to check\-out.
**Qualifications**
* Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar healthcare front office role required.
* Knowledge of dental terminology, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling.
* Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and a strong commitment to patient confidentiality.
* Experience with dental practice management software; **Curve Dental** experience is a plus.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
