Job description
Looking for an experienced Bilingual dental assistant
**Duties**
* Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
* Prepare and organize dental instruments, materials, and equipment ensuring adherence to infection prevention management and aseptic techniques.
* Take and develop dental X\-rays while following dental sterilization procedures and radiation safety guidelines.
* Manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR systems) such as Dentrix , ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Perform vital signs assessments and medical imaging to support comprehensive patient care.
* Educate patients on oral health practices, post\-treatment care, and treatment plans while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies.
* Support administrative tasks including patient management software updates, appointment scheduling, and greeting patients as a dental receptionist.
* **Requirements**
* Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure in the applicable region.
* Proven experience in dental assisting within a general dentistry or pediatric dentistry setting.
* Proficiency with dental software platforms such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft; familiarity with patient management systems is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, dental equipment operation, and medical documentation standards.
* Skilled in dental instrument processing, sterilization procedures, infection control practices, and aseptic technique.
* Ability to perform dental X\-ray procedures accurately while adhering to safety protocols.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients of all ages.
* Knowledge of healthcare infection prevention and control policies along with experience in four\-handed dentistry techniques is preferred.
Pay: $16\.00 \- $20\.00 per
