Job description:
* Be a multi\-faceted worker, capable of working in a production environment.
* Comply with ALL safety procedures at ALL times.
* Ability to work in both a shop and heavy highway construction zone environment.
* Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures.
* Work under immediate supervision of foreman or supervisor in charge.
* Perform other duties or functions as job requires.
* Ability to work more than 40 hours in a given week, including weekends when required.
**Physical Requirements**
**∙** Frequent bending, twisting, and lifting.
**∙** Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
**∙** Exposure to outdoors, and working in adverse weather conditions.
**∙** The individual must be able to wear all proper PPE to perform the given tasks. Minimum PPE required but not limited to: safety glasses, ear plugs, steel toe boots, and reflective vests.
**Experience**
**∙** 3 years of carpentry or experience in a construction type environment preferred.
**Skills**
**∙** Communicate clearly with fellow workers and supervisors.
**∙** Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner.
**∙** Ability to learn and gain professional knowledge
**∙** Ability to work with power tools and other mechanical devices.
**Certifications or Licenses**
**∙** Valid driver’s license
**∙** Individual must be able to pass a background check
**∙** CDL A or B certification (preferred)
**∙** OSHA 10 certification (preferred but not required)
