Experienced Barista

The Happy Cow is hiring an experienced barista to join our team. We're a fast\-casual burger and coffee shop built on clean, high\-quality ingredients — house\-made syrups, refined\-sugar\-free options, pasture\-raised beef, gluten\-free accommodations, and a guest experience that actually feels thought\-through. We're not a corporate coffee shop, so we need someone who cares about quality, consistency, and the details. If you'd rather help build something with a small local business than get lost in a chain, this is for you. **Details** * Location: OCC * Schedule: 27–35 hours/week; morning and weekend availability required * Pay: $15–$15\.50/hour depending on experience, plus **tips** * Closed Monday * Applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled **What You'll Do** * Pull consistent espresso drinks, cold brew, teas, and smoothies * Give warm, confident service through every rush * Open and/or close the front of house * Keep the café clean, stocked, and running smoothly * Help train newer baristas once you're settled in * Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and ownership **What We're Looking For** * Prior barista experience required; espresso machine experience strongly preferred * Dependable, organized, and a calm, steady presence during a rush * Strong customer service and communication skills * Comfortable in a small business where everyone pitches in * Interest in clean food or high\-quality coffee is a plus * Shift lead or leadership experience is a plus, but not required for the right person Pay: $15\.00 \- $15\.50 per hour Benefits: * Employee discount * Paid sick time Work Location: In person
