Job description

Social Worker (LSW) – Children \& Adolescents Behavioral Health Overview Francine’s Legacy is seeking a compassionate Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to support our behavioral health programs for children and adolescents. You’ll provide trauma\-informed, recovery\-focused care for young clients facing mental health challenges, behavioral concerns, substance use, family trauma, and other social or emotional difficulties — especially in underserved communities. This role includes working with both youth in community\-based settings and those involved in juvenile court programs, helping all children and families build resilience, improve mental health, and achieve long\-term success. Key Responsibilities * Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents * Provide individual and group therapy for mental health, behavioral, and substance use challenges * Deliver supportive counseling, psychoeducation, and case management under supervision * Provide crisis intervention for youth in residential, community, or court\-involved settings * Maintain accurate, Medicaid\-compliant documentation * Support families with access to housing, healthcare, and community resources * Build trust, resilience, and empowerment in children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds * Participate in treatment team meetings, audits, and quality improvement initiatives * Use motivational interviewing and trauma\-informed approaches tailored to youth * Uphold ethical social work standards and participate in ongoing professional development Required Skills \& Qualifications * Active Ohio LSW license in good standing * Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in behavioral health * Skilled in individual and group therapy for youth * Knowledge of juvenile court programs, Medicaid billing, OhioMHAS regulations, and local resources (preferred but not required) * Strong documentation skills (DAP/SOAP notes, treatment planning
