Housekeeping Turndown Attendant

Overview: The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a **Turndown Attendant** to join the only Forbes Five\-Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences. The **Turndown Attendant** will be responsible for completing the evening housekeeping service for hotel guests. Responsibilities: * Perform turndown service as per The Post Oak Hotel/ Forbes 5\-star processes and standards * Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments * Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering * Replace guest amenities, dirty linens and terry in rooms * Make beds and fold terry * Clean bathrooms * Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items * Check that all appliances are present in the room and in working order * Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances Qualifications: * Aspire to our values of being passionate, strive for excellence, remain relevant, collaborate and act with honor and integrity * 1 year of previous customer service or cleaning experience * Knowledge in and or experience with Forbes 4/5 Star service standards is preferred * Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required * Physical demands: + Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance + Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work\-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces + Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping **What we offer you:** * Multiple benefit plans to suit your needs * Paid Time Off * 401K * Opportunities for advancement * Positive and respectful work environment where diversity is valued * Generous employee discounts on dining, retail, amusements, and hotels * Community volunteer opportunities * Complimentar
