Cashier - Part time/Seasonal

This position is *Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and 1 Saturday per month from 9am \- 2:30pm from mid\-August through early December*. **There is no flexibility in this shift so please do not apply if you are unable to work these days**. Looking to fill this position from mid\-August through December. **Job Overview** Join the Cattleack Barbeque team as a Part\-Time Seasonal Cashier, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable dining experience for our customers. In this role, you will be the smiling face at the checkout counter, ensuring quick and accurate transactions while providing exceptional customer service. **Responsibilities** * Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy * Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties responsibly * Assist customers with menu and ordering questions. * Maintain organized checkout areas by stocking supplies and merchandising products at register * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally and courteously **Skills** * Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures * Strong communication skills * Previous restaurant cashier experience is a plus. * Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for retail math calculations * Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor * Familiarity with restaurant operations and retail sales processes * Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast\-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us in creating a a friendly and memorable dining experience where every customer leaves satisfied!
