The Engineer takes care of the building, equipment and grounds of the hotel. This position will perform maintenance and repairs, and preventative maintenance, to all areas of the hotel. * Paints, stains and varnishes using brushes and rollers * Repairs surfaces, plaster, trim and sheetrock, sands sandblast and burns as needed old finishes, * Erects scaffold and ladders as needed * Ability to mix and match paint, requisitions supplies, refinishing as needed furniture, hangs and repairs wall paper and vinyl * May also perform other minor maintenance and repairs and/or conduct preventative maintenance duties as needed. * Ensure that assigned equipment is prepared and operational for the following day’s work. * Adhere to federal, state and local regulations concerning safety or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policy and procedures to ensure qu
