**Overview** **Line Cook/Prep Cook/Dishwasher** We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook/Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This position provides valuable hands\-on experience in food handling, menu execution, and kitchen management. **Duties** * Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to menu specifications * Cook dishes with attention to quality, presentation, and food safety standards * Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment including dishwashing duties * Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene * Assist with menu planning and ingredient inventory management * Support catering events by preparing and serving food as needed * Ensure all food is stored correctly and expiration dates are monitored * Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service **Skills** * Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is advantageous * Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols * Proficiency in menu planning and meal preparation for various dietary needs * Excellent knife skills and familiarity with culinary tools and equipment * Ability to handle food safely and maintain high standards of cleanliness * Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred * Knowledge of catering services and serving procedures is a plus * Good communication skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure * Flexibility to adapt to different roles within the kitchen as needed This position offers an engaging environment for those passionate about
