**Job description** Bake shop offering an array of French Macarons, cakes by the slice, coffee, custom cakes, wedding cakes, and more! Looking for skilled and reliable individuals to join our team! Positions can be part\-time or full\-time is preferred. \*\*\*WEEKEND AVAILABILITY YIELDS ADDITIONAL $4\-6 PER HOUR IN TIPS\*\*\* **\*\*MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS AND EVENINGS.\*\*** **Barista Job Duties:** * Welcomes customers by determining their coffee interests and needs. * Latte art expertise is a huge plus! * Educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answering questions. * Sells coffees and coffee grinding and brewing equipment by explaining differences in coffee beans and coffee preparation machines; demonstrating how brewing equipment operates. * Serves/cutting cake slices and other baked goods. Prepares certain bakery items like buttercreams and syrups. Topping cheesecakes, cinnamon rolls, etc. * Able to weigh and scale out ingredients. * Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, espresso, cafe latte, and cappuccino. * Generates revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products. Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee bar. * Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. * Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations. * Cleaning tasks when needed * Barista Skills and Qualifications: Listening, Friendly, Verbal Communication, Customer Focus, Customer Service, Basic Safety, People Skills, Action Oriented, Organization, Selling to Customer Needs, Attendance, Client Relationships Job Types: Full\-time, Part\-time Pay: $13
