Janitor and Cleaner

\#\#\# Job Overview: We are currently seeking a Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities. This is an important role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our employees and visitors. \#\#\# Duties: \- Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming \- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas \- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly \- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished \- Follow established safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) \- Perform floor care duties such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing \- Assist with porter duties, including moving furniture and equipment as needed \- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance issues and report them to the appropriate personnel \- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygiene \#\#\# Requirements: \- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred \- Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures \- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners \- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions \- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required \- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively \- Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors Join our team as a Janitor and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized environment for our staff and visitors.
