This is an entry\-level position with growth potential and career progression. **Duties** * Champions “The Layton Way” by delivering predictable outcomes for internal teams, external teams, and customers. * Ensures that “Constructing with Integrity” is delivered by working with honesty, unity, safety, and quality of work. * Provide support to other craft workers on project site of structural construction, heavy concrete construction, demolition, and framing. * Maintain clean and safe work areas (sweep debris, gather and discard trash, scrap iron and wood, remove snow and ice). * Identify hazards associated with task assignments and ask questions when clarification is needed. * Load/unload materials as needed. * Have minimum tools associated with trade. * Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Safety. **Qualifications** * Performs essential duties and responsibilities efficiently, accurately, and safely with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing threat of harm to self or others. * Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and emails.
