**Become a part of our caring community** ========================================= As a Medical Assistant you will be the first contact for patient care, responsible for administrative responsibilities in addition to patient care. Working onsite in a clinical environment and reporting to the Center Administrator you will perform varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments.**What You’ll Do** * You will document patient symptoms and history in the EMR * You will take and record accurate vital signs * You will administer injections and medications * You will perform diagnostic tests * You will collect specimens and draw blood * You will sterilize equipment and maintain a clean, well\-organized exam room **What You Bring** * Completion of an accredited MA training program, Certified/Registered Medical Assistant credential, or 5\+ years of relevant experience with Provider approval * 1\+ years of Medical Assistant experience * Phlebotomy experience * Experience administering medication and vaccines * Current CPR Certification * Bilingual in English and Spanish **Nice to Have** * Active MA certification or Registration * Value\-based Care experience including familiarity with HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS patient experience **Work Hours:** **Monday – Friday 8:00 to 5:00** **Location:** Onsite at CenterWell Senior Primary Care Center 2335 E Lake Mead Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89030 This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
