**Job Summary**

**Duties**
* Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and oral examinations.
* Assist with a variety of dental procedures such as prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), orthodontics (braces adjustments), oral surgery, endodontics (root canals), periodontics (gum treatments), and pediatric dentistry.
* Educate patients on prop ealth.
* **Maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records using electronic health record (EHR) systems like Eagle soft, Dentrix, or Epic.**
* Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality at all times.
* Support the dental office team by coordinating with the dental receptionist and assisting with administrative tasks as needed. **Skills**
* Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eagle soft, Dentrix, or Epic for efficient documentation and scheduling.
* Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and best practices across general dentistry specialties including orthodontics, prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and periodontics.
* Experience in patient assessment techniques and vital signs measurement to monitor patient health during visits.
* Familiarity with medical coding and medical records management to ensure accurate
