We recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply. **Job Summary** --------------- We are currently seeking an **Anatomic Pathology Senior Technician.** This position is a full\-time opportunity located in **Columbus, OH and West Jefferson, OH.** This role sits within Battelle's Life Science Research business and supports the Pathology department by performing necropsy procedures on small and large animals, trimming tissues for histopathology processing, and generating data across a variety of study types. The position operates Monday through Friday and will require overtime on nights and weekends, on\-call availability, and work on holidays. **Responsibilities** -------------------- As an Anatomic Pathology Senior Technician, the selected individual will perform technical laboratory and pathology support functions across multiple study types while contributing to compliance, safety, and team leadership. Responsibilities may include: * Performing necropsy examinations of small and large laboratory animals, including gross necropsy, tissue collection, fixation, and labeling of specimens * Working with highly hazardous biological and toxic materials in Biological Safety Level 2 (BSL\-2\) and Biological Safety Level 3 (BSL\-3\) laboratory environments * Processing tissues for the histopathology team following established SOPs and safety protocols; cross\-training in histology (e.g., embedding, sectioning, staining) to provide flexible workflow coverage * Analyzing antimicrobial use and resistance data and supporting outbreak detection and response, including coordi
