**Job Summary** We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Poultry \& Exotic Birds Caretaker Help to join our dynamic farm team. In this role, you will assist in the daily care, management, and maintenance of poultry and exotic bird species, ensuring their health, safety, and well\-being. Your enthusiasm for animal husbandry combined with mechanical aptitude will contribute to the smooth operation of our farm facilities and equipment. **Duties** * Assist with feeding, watering, and cleaning enclosures for poultry and exotic birds to maintain optimal health and hygiene standards * Support the handling and management of birds during routine health checks, vaccinations, and breeding activities * Operate farm machinery such as tractors, irrigation systems, and other equipment necessary for daily farm operations * Perform basic maintenance and repairs on farm equipment, including power tools, hand tools, and small machinery to ensure safety and functionality * Assist with manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of feed bags, bird cages, or equipment while adhering to safety standards in production * Support the supervision of other farm staff or volunteers involved in animal care activities * Maintain detailed records of bird health, feeding schedules, breeding data, and equipment maintenance logs **Qualifications** * Proven experience in animal care, livestock handling or farm work with a focus on poultry or exotic birds preferred * Demonstrated supervisory experience in a farm or agricultural setting is advantageous * Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, agricultural tractors, or other farm machinery safely * Mechanical knowledge including equipment repair, welding skills, and general maintenance expertise * Familiarity with safety standards in agricultural production environ
