Responsibilities
Assist surgeons chairside during a variety of oral surgery procedures
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection prevention management and dental sterilization procedures.
Capture high\-quality dental x\-rays and medical imaging while adhering to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols.
Manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Support patient management by taking vital signs, reviewing medical documentation, and providing exceptional patient care throughout their visit.
Operate dental equipment including 3D scanners, dental x\-ray machines, and other clinical tools with precision and aseptic technique.
Coordinate with the reception team to schedule appointments, verify insurance information, and facilitate smooth patient flow within the clinic.
Requirements
Certified as a Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure or registration in accordance with state regulations.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures
Hands\-on experience with dental instrument processing, sterilization techniques, infection control standards, and aseptic technique.
Ability to perform dental x\-ray procedures safely
