Job description
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live\-In Caregiver to provide exceptional in\-home care for clients requiring assistance with daily activities and medical needs. This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver personalized, respectful, and comprehensive care in a supportive environment. The Live\-In Caregiver will be responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and well\-being of clients by offering attentive personal care, medication management, and emotional support. **Duties**
* Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support, utilizing patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts when necessary
* Monitor and observe patients’ health status by recording vital signs and noting changes in condition using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
* Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as eating, toileting, and medication administration in accordance with medical directives and home healthcare regulations
* Support clients with memory care needs related to Alzheimer’s disease and dementia by implementing specialized techniques for safety and engagement
* Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations while documenting medical records accurately and securely
* Facilitate communication between clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care plans
* Assist with household tasks including meal preparation, light cleaning, laundry, and ensuring a safe living environment
**Skills**
* Extensive experience working with geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized care such as catheter management or end\-of\-life support
