From preventative maintenance to responding to everyday service requests, you’ll play an essential role in supporting the well\-being of our residents, visitors, and team members while maintaining the high standards that define McKnight Place.
**Responsibilities:**
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for the day\-to\-day maintenance, repair, and appearance of our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot building systems, complete work orders, and ensure our campus remains safe, functional, and welcoming. This position works closely with all departments to provide exceptional service while supporting resident comfort.
**What You’ll Do:**
* Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the community.
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders from resident and staff.
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance issues.
* Assist with apartment turnovers, in preparation for new residents.
* Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the building, grounds, and outdoor spaces.
* Assist with snow removal, ice control, and other seasonal maintenance responsibilities as needed.
* Follow OSHA regulations, infection prevention protocols, and all community safety policies.
