This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in an outpatient nephrology clinic. **Responsibilities** * Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and explaining upcoming steps clearly. * Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR management) with precision, ensuring all medical documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with privacy standards. * Conduct patient assessments, report conditions accurately to physicians, and support critical care needs when necessary. * Provide health education to patients on post\-treatment care, medication instructions, and lifestyle modifications to promote wellness. * Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control standards. * Communicate effectively with clients, providing empathetic support and clear information about treatments or procedures. * **Requirements** * Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program; current CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification required. * Proven experience in outpatient clinic preferred. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology, nursing practices, and medical documentation standards. * Hands\-on experience with EMR/EHR systems for managing electronic health records efficiently. * Familiarity with basic life support (BLS) protocols and emergency response procedures such as CPR. * Experience with verifying insurance, prior authorizations and chart preparation for both new and returning patients
