We’re looking for someone who is passionate about indoor plants, enjoys helping people, and wants to continue learning in a fun, collaborative environment. **Position Summary** The Houseplants \& Aroid Retail Associate is responsible for providing outstanding customer service while maintaining healthy, beautiful plant displays throughout the store. This position combines retail sales, plant care, merchandising, and customer education to create an exceptional shopping experience. **Responsibilities** * Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service. * Assist customers in selecting houseplants, planter pots, soils, fertilizers, grow lights, and plant care accessories. * Educate customers on proper plant care, watering, lighting, fertilization, repotting, and pest prevention. * Water, prune, clean, fertilize, and maintain healthy retail plants. * Monitor plants for pests, diseases, and overall health. * Assist with repotting services and custom plant arrangements. * Receive, inspect, clean, label, and merchandise incoming plant shipments. * Maintain attractive plant and merchandise displays. * Operate the POS system and process customer transactions. * Assist with inventory counts and product restocking. * Help prepare for workshops, plant releases, and special events. * Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment. **Qualifications** * Passion for indoor plants and houseplant care. * Interest in rare tropical plants and aroids. * Strong customer service and communication skills. * Positive attitude and willingnes
