**Job Overview**
Join our hospitality team as a Hotel Front Desk Staff member! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check\-ins, check\-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure smooth operations at the front desk while fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere. **Duties**
* Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a positive first impression
* Manage hotel reservations using our property management systems including booking modifications and cancellations
* Handle multi\-line phone systems with professionalism, providing information about hotel services and local attractions
* Check guests in and out efficiently while verifying identification and payment details
* Respond promptly to guest requests, complaints, or issues, demonstrating excellent problem\-solving skills and maintaining guest satisfaction
* Maintain accurate records of guest information, room assignments, and billing details during night audits or shift changes
* Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure safety and security for all guests and staff
**Requirements**
* Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment
* Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively
* Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor, excellent phone etiquette, and professional client communication abilities
* Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest relations, and hospitality best practices
* Ability to handle high\-pressure situations with tact and efficiency while maintaining a positive attitude
* Previous hotel experience is preferred; resort experience is a plus
* Familiarity with night audit processes
