In this dynamic role, you'll have the unique opportunity to support multiple classrooms, connect with a variety of young learners, and play a vital part in nurturing every child's natural curiosity and love of learning. **Responsibilities:** * Float between preschool classrooms to provide coverage and support as needed throughout the school day * Assist lead teachers in implementing Montessori\-based curriculum and daily activities * Supervise and engage children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, and transitions * Foster a safe, nurturing, and prepared learning environment consistent with Montessori philosophy * Support individual children's social, emotional, and developmental needs * Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization of Montessori materials * Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents regarding child progress and daily observations **Requirements:** * Minimum 6 units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development preferred * Prior experience working with preschool\-aged children in a childcare or classroom setting * Familiarity with Montessori philosophy and methods is a plus * Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) * Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively across multiple classroom environments * Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills * Must pass background check and meet California Title 22 licensing requirements **About Us:** Sacramento Montessori is a dedicated early childhood learning community committed to inspiring independent thinkers and lifelong learners through the time\-honored Montessori method.
