This role involves patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, responding to incidents, and enforcing site policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is observant, reliable, and committed to maintaining a secure and welcoming environment.</p><p></p><p><b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><p>The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:</p><ul><li>Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to monitor suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, or safety hazards</li><li>Monitor and operate surveillance systems, alarms, and access control systems</li><li>Control access to buildings and restricted areas, verifying identification and credentials</li><li>Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, disturbances, and security incidents</li><li>Complete incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner</li><li>Assist with crowd control during events or high-traffic periods</li><li>Conduct safety inspections of facilities and equipment, report safety concerns</li><li>Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors while maintaining professional boundaries</li><li>Enforce property rules and regulations consistently and fairly</li><li>Liaise with law enforcement, emergency responders, and management when necessary</li><li>Escort employees or visitors to and from vehicles or buildings upon request</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li></ul><p></p><p><b>QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS</b></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:</p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED required</li><li>Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred</li><li>Valid security guard license (if required by state or local law)</li><li>CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus</li><li>Strong observational and problem-solving skills</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities</li><li>Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in high-pressure or emergency situations</li><li>Basic computer skills for reporting and surveillance system use</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance and behavior</li></ul><p></p><p><b>WORK ENVIRONMENT</b></p><ul><li>Work is primarily performed on-site at assigned facilities or properties</li><li>May involve indoor and outdoor environments, exposure to various weather conditions</li><li>May include evening, weekend, or overnight shifts depending on operational needs</li></ul><p></p><p><b>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</b></p><ul><li>Ability to walk, stand, or patrol for extended periods</li><li>Must be able to lift-up to 30–50 lbs. occasionally</li><li>May be required to climb stairs, stoop, bend, and respond quickly to emergencies</li><li>Visual and auditory ability to observe surroundings and detect unusual or suspicious activity</li></ul><p></p><p><b>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS</b></p><ul><li>Valid driver’s license (if patrol or driving is part of the role).</li><li>State security guard card/license (as required by jurisdiction).</li><li>CPR, AED, and First Aid preferred or required within a set time after hire.</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><i>If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!</i></p>
