* Assess patients’ medical history, vital signs, and overall oral health status to inform treatment plans.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post\-treatment instructions to foster lifelong healthy habits.
* Assist the dentist during various procedures with chairside assisting, ensuring smooth workflow and patient comfort.
* Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records (EHR/EMR), including documentation review and medical coding.
* Follow infection prevention protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA compliance standards to protect patient confidentiality and ensure a sterile environment.
* Operate dental equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to infection control guidelines to prevent cross\-contamination.
* Communicate clearly with patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry cases, providing compassionate care tailored to pediatric patients’ needs.
* Support the dental team by managing appointment schedules, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring the clinic’s smooth daily operation.
