Bartender

Responsibilities: \- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests \- Take and prepare drink orders accurately and efficiently \- Mix and serve alcoholic and non\-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences \- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol \- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area \- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible drinking practices \- Upsell drink specials and promote new menu items \- Handle cash transactions and process payments through the Aloha POS system \- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar Experience: \- Previous experience as a bartender \- Knowledge of brewing techniques, cocktail recipes, and drink garnishments \- Familiarity with point\-of\-sale systems \- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with guests \- Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Requirements: \- Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages \- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices \- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy kegs or cases of alcohol \- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, skills, or requirements associated with this position.
