Job Duties include, but are not limited to the following:* Cultivate a clinical environment that places a premium on quality care, compassionate interactions, and community empowerment.
* Prepare an environment that puts a premium on the patient's experience.
* Complete registration and intake processes to prepare for patient visits.
* Collect objective and subjective data related to the patients’ chief complaint and present this information to the provider.
* Implement the treatment point of care testing and discharge instructions per provider order.
* Document patient information via our electronic medical record.
* Take patient medical histories.
* Explain treatment procedures to patients.
* Prepare patients for examination.
* Assist the provider during exams.
* Collect and prepare laboratory specimens.
* Perform basic laboratory tests.
* Instruct patients about medication and special diets.
* Prepare and administer medications as directed by a provider.
* Transmit prescription refills as directed.
* Draw blood.
* Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
**Education and Certification:*** Medical Assistant certification (Required)
* BLS \- First Aid and CPR (Required)
