Job description

**Job Summary** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, patient management, and compliance with health regulations. We are looking for three days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Tuesday 8\-5pm Wednesday 9\-6pm Thursday 8\-5pm **Responsibilities** * Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. * Take and record vital signs of patients prior to procedures. * Assist the dentist during various treatments and procedures as needed. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations. * Utilize Dentrix software for managing patient information and scheduling appointments. * Provide care to patients across various demographics, including pediatric and general dentistry. * Ensure that all instruments are sterilized and prepared for use in compliance with clinic protocols. * Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and treatment outcomes. **Qualifications** * Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice. * Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental procedures. * Experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred. * Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is a plus. * Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education. * Ability to work effectively in a team\-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism. * Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is advantageous but not required. * Commitment to upholding HIPAA standards and ensuring patient confidentiality.
