Experienced Bartender

**Position Summary** The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through friendly, efficient service while preparing high\-quality beverages in a fast\-paced waterfront restaurant and event venue. This position plays a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and supporting the overall success of restaurant and banquet operations. **Key Areas of AccountabilityGuest Experience \& Hospitality** * Welcome every guest with a friendly, upbeat, and professional attitude. * Deliver exceptional service while creating memorable guest experiences. * Build relationships with regular guests and encourage repeat business. * Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns promptly and professionally. * Work collaboratively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service. **Beverage Service** * Prepare and serve alcoholic and non\-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards. * Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all New York State liquor laws. * Maintain knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, cocktails, and seasonal drink offerings. * Make beverage recommendations and upsell premium products and specials. * Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible alcohol service. **Bar Operations** * Set up and stock the bar before each shift. * Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of all bar areas. * Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs. * Accurately process guest orders through the POS system. * Handle cash, credit card transactions, and daily reconciliation with accuracy. **Restaurant \& Event Support** * Support banquet, catering, and private event beverage service. * Assist with opening and closing procedures. * Work efficiently during high\-volume periods while maintaining service standards. * Help maintain dining room cleanliness and assist teammates when needed. * Contribute to a positive, team\-oriented work envi
