Bilingual Medical Assistant (Spanish) URGENT

**Description** We are seeking a Bilingual Spanish Medical Assistant to support our healthcare in delivering efficient patient care. This role involves assisting with medical procedures, administrative work and maintaining accurate medical records. **Qualifications** * MUST BE FLUENT IN SPANISH * The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, complete a certified medical assistant program, and be proficient in electronic health records. * Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a heart of compassion and empathy towards our patients and families * Exceptional oral and written communication skills, time management skills and organizational skill **Benefits** * $15\-$16 /Hr **Responsibility** * Collect and process co\-pays, sliding scale fees, and patient payments accurately * Answer the phone * Prepare and distribute encounter paperwork * Monitor and manage the waiting room to ensure patient comfort and flow * Process prescription refill requests and route to providers for review * Follow up with patients on labs, imaging, and referral results under provider direction * Front Desk \& Administrative Duties * Verify and update patient demographics, insurance information, and consent forms in the EHR * Star prior authorizations Pay: $15\.00 \- $16\.00 per hour Work Location: In person
