Medical Assistant- Gynecology office

***Need a personable, motivated and reliable Medical Assistant for our boutique gynecology only practice*** Our office is a small gynecology practice with a solo physician, Dr Adriana Suarez, who provides care for women of all ages and stages in life. You would be an integral part of our four person team. Dependability is essential for this position due to our small work family. Being kind and respectful to patients in person and on the phone is one of Dr Suarez's main requirements. Our practice focuses more on time with patients than on volume so the daily pace is more relaxed. The goal is to have someone who sees themselves in this position and have them maintain and grow their knowledge and experience while helping to provide compassionate patient care. **Duties** * Assist Dr Suarez with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. * Perform intake assessments, including obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and current medications. * Maintain accurate patient records using our EHR system. * Provide administrative support including scheduling appointments, tracking lab and mammogram follow\-up, managing patient flow, communicating with patients regarding results and follow\-up. This position also requires handling medical administrative tasks such as keeping track of inventory and ordering supplies as well as keeping rooms adequately stocked. * Occasional administering of medications as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions. **Experience** Candidates should possess experience in a clinical setting with a strong foundation in: * Vital signs assessment techniques * Athena EHR or other EHR Medical administrative support * Patient service excellence * Previous experience in a medical office setting Ideal candidates will have knowledge of: * Medical terminology relevant to Gynecology If this job description resonates with you we would love to review your resume.
