Crew Leader, Tree Climber

If you thrive in outdoor work environments and have a passion for arboriculture and team management, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact while advancing your career in the tree care industry. **Duties** * Lead and supervise a crew of tree climbers and grounds maintenance staff to complete tree jobs efficiently and safely * Perform advanced tree climbing tasks such as pruning, cabling, bracing, removal, and planting with precision and care * Operate company vehicles and equipment responsibly to support project needs including chippers and heavy machinery * Conduct plant identification assessments to inform proper pruning or treatment strategies while maintaining overall site health * Enforce safety protocols on\-site, conduct risk assessments, and provide training to team members on equipment operation and safety procedures **Qualifications** * Proven experience as a tree climber and working arborist * Strong background in tree care techniques including climbing, pruning, removal, and plant identification * Supervising or team management experience in the tree industry is highly desirable * Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely in outdoor settings * Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team while maintaining high safety standards * Familiarity with arboriculture and a desire for continued education and certification Join us to lead exciting projects that beautify communities while fostering a safe environment for your team!
