Security Officer - Night

As a Security Officer on the overnight shift, you will help create a safe and welcoming environment for guests and associates while protecting hotel property and maintaining order. Responsibilities: **What You’ll Do** * Patrol hotel interior and exterior areas to identify safety hazards or suspicious activity. * Monitor and report activity using security cameras, maintaining detailed logs of observations. * Control access at associate entrances, issue and collect visitor passes, and safeguard keys to critical areas. * Investigate theft, property damage, trespassing, or personal injury incidents and prepare clear, detailed reports. * Respond to guest disturbances or rule violations, taking appropriate action to maintain order. * Assist with emergency response procedures, including fire, severe weather, medical, or evacuation situations. * Manage lost and found inventory and generate associate identification cards. * Support leadership with additional security\-related tasks as needed. **What You’ll Bring** * Previous security, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred. * Knowledge of CCTV systems is a plus. * CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain after hire). * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm and tactful in high\-stress situations. * Basic Microsoft Office proficiency and clear written communication skills. * Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
