**Residential Interior Designer**
Virtual Studio / Local Field Position
32 Hours per Week with Opportunity to transition to Full Time
**About Us**
Charla Ray Interior Design is a boutique interior design studio specializing in high\-end residential new construction, large\-scale remodels, and thoughtfully curated furnishings. We believe exceptional design is both beautiful and livable, creating homes that enrich our clients' everyday lives.
Although we operate as a virtual studio, we are a highly collaborative team. We connect regularly through Zoom while also spending time where the work happens—meeting with clients, visiting construction sites, sourcing materials in local showrooms, and collaborating with builders, architects, and trade partners. Our projects are highly customized and detail\-driven, requiring creativity, technical expertise, organization, and a genuine passion for residential design.
We are seeking an Interior Designer who is eager to grow professionally, contribute meaningfully to our team, and develop into a long\-term member of our studio.
**Position Summary**
This role offers the opportunity to participate in every phase of the design process—from initial concepts through construction documentation, material selections, client presentations, and project implementation.
The ideal candidate is creative, organized, technically proficient, and enjoys both the artistic and detailed aspects of residential interior design. They are self\-motivated, communicate proactively, thrive in a collaborative environment, and are excited to continually learn and grow.
The position is anticipated to begin at 32 hours per week, with the opportunity to transition into a full\-time role based on performance, workload, and mutual fit.
