**Benefits \& Eligibility Specialist (Customer Service)** **Location:** Phoenix, AZ or Tucson, AZ **Pay:** **$18\.50/hour** **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, **8:00 AM–5:00 PM** **Employment Type:** Contract\-to\-Hire **Training:** **7 weeks of paid onsite training** Are you passionate about helping others and making a difference in your community? We are seeking detail\-oriented and compassionate **Benefits \& Eligibility Specialists** to assist individuals in accessing important public assistance programs. This is an excellent opportunity to build a meaningful career while developing valuable customer service, interviewing, and case management skills. In this role, you will interview applicants, review benefit applications, verify documentation, and determine eligibility based on established guidelines. You'll communicate with applicants by phone and in person, explain program requirements, answer questions, resolve issues, and ensure all information is accurate and complete. You'll also work with employers, healthcare providers, and government agencies when additional information is needed. We're looking for candidates with strong communication skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple cases in a fast\-paced environment.
