Our work environment includes: * Modern front office setting Our outpatient psychiatric clinic is looking for a caring and compassionate individual, who has experience working with people who have a mental illness. Special training in psychology or psychiatry is not required for this position, but the ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and show initiative when approaching a new subject. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be capable of multitasking, and be able to work on their own initiative as well as within a team environment. Great customer service is expected with great communication by phone. Responsibilities: * Record patient's information accurately and clearly. * Explain the psychiatrist's instructions to patient and family members in a clear way. * Help providers with their tasks. * Insurance and eligibility verification. * Assist with initial intake using Icanotes EHR. * Handle the daily activities of an office/clinic. * Communication with clients is done remotely only, no face to face with clients, no office visits by clients.
