This position offers opportunities to develop culinary skills, enhance customer service expertise, and thrive in a fast\-paced food industry setting. **Duties (dependent on role)** * Prepare high\-quality food items efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards * Operate a POS system for accurate order processing and cash handling * Manage customer orders with friendly service, upselling menu items to enhance sales and customer satisfaction * Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including kitchen equipment, dining area, and service stations * Process cash transactions accurately, and manage cash register operations * Assist with food safety management by following proper handling procedures and sanitation protocols * Support team members with bussing tables, sanitation tasks, and ensuring a smooth flow of service during busy hours **Experience** * Previous experience in restaurant environments preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates * Familiarity with food preparation, food handling, and kitchen operations is highly desirable * Experience using POS systems is a plus * Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours * Customer service experience demonstrating friendly communication and problem\-solving abilities * Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and retail math calculations * Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry or grocery store settings is advantageous Join us at Black
