Automotive Mechanic

We're a busy independent shop where good work is noticed and appreciated. We're looking to add an Automotive Mechanic to our team. This is a full\-time opportunity for someone who enjoys solving mechanical problems, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to work in a shop where every day brings something different. **About the Position** * Diagnose drivability concerns, warning lights, unusual noises, and mechanical issues using proper testing procedures and diagnostic equipment. * Repair brake systems, steering and suspension components, cooling systems, engine accessories, and other mechanical assemblies. * Perform scheduled maintenance services, inspections, fluid exchanges, tune\-ups, and manufacturer\-recommended maintenance. * Complete larger repairs when needed, including timing components, water pumps, wheel bearings, and cooling system repairs. * Inspect vehicles carefully during service and identify maintenance or safety concerns that should be brought to the customer's attention. * Verify completed repairs through road testing and final quality checks whenever appropriate. * Maintain an organized work area and help keep the shop operating efficiently throughout the day. * Work alongside the rest of the team to keep repairs moving and customers back on the road. **The Experience We're Looking For** * Previous experience diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of passenger vehicles. * Your own basic hand tools. We provide the lifts, diagnostic equipment, and specialty tools. * A valid driver's license and the ability to safely move customer vehicles. * Someone who works independently, manages time well, and takes pride in doing the job right. * Comfortable working on both ne
