Northland Auto Repair has been helping drivers throughout Northeast Minneapolis keep their vehicles dependable through every season. We've built our business by doing quality work, standing behind our repairs, and earning the trust of customers who come back year after year. We're a busy independent shop where good work is noticed and appreciated. We're looking to add an Automotive Mechanic to our team. This is a full\-time opportunity for someone who enjoys solving mechanical problems, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to work in a shop where every day brings something different. **About the Position** * Diagnose drivability concerns, warning lights, unusual noises, and mechanical issues using proper testing procedures and diagnostic equipment. * Repair brake systems, steering and suspension components, cooling systems, engine accessories, and other mechanical assemblies. * Perform scheduled maintenance services, inspections, fluid exchanges, tune\-ups, and manufacturer\-recommended maintenance. * Complete larger repairs when needed, including timing components, water pumps, wheel bearings, and cooling system repairs. * Inspect vehicles carefully during service and identify maintenance or safety concerns that should be brought to the customer's attention. * Verify completed repairs through road testing and final quality checks whenever appropriate. * Maintain an organized work area and help keep the shop operating efficiently throughout the day. * Work alongside the rest of the team to keep repairs moving and customers back on the road. **The Experience We're Looking For** * Previous experience diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of passenger vehicles. * Your own basic hand tools. We provide the lifts, diagnostic equipment, and specialty tools. * A valid driver's license and the ability to safely move customer vehicles. * Someone who works independently, manages time well, and takes pride in doing the job right. * Comfortable working on both ne
