Fitter Apprentice - Miami, FL

As a Fitter Apprentice here at Honeywell, you will embark on a hands\-on learning journey to develop your skills in fitting, assembling, and maintaining mechanical components and systems. You will report directly to our **Sr Field Service Manager** and you’ll work out of our **Miami, FL** location on an On\-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of our production and maintenance operations by ensuring that mechanical assemblies and equipment are installed and maintained to the highest standards, contributing to overall operational excellence. **YOU MUST HAVE** * High school diploma or GED * HVAC Certification or enrollment in or eligibility for a registered HVAC apprenticeship program in New Hampshire * Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn a skilled trade * Ability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively within a team environment Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation * **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:** * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly * Ability to work in confined spaces, on ladders, rooftops, and in varying weather conditions Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb for extended periods * **WE VALUE** * Prior experience in construction, mechanical work, or trade school coursework * Basic math skills and ability to measure accurately * Familiarity with hand and power tools OSHA‑10 certification (or willingness to obtain) * **ABOUT HONEYWELL** Honeywell International Inc.
