Cake Production Specialist

Tres Lechería is a wholesale and retail dessert business located in Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood, looking to hire to fulfill our Production Cake Specialist position. We are looking for a new member of our team who will work well with others to achieve a common goal \- producing tres leches cakes and cakes by the slice for sale in our retail shop and to fulfill our 100\+ wholesale accounts along the West Coast. We are hoping to find a great member to add to our team who is interested in growing with a very small, family\-owned local business! Previous baking experience not required. Food service/hospitality industry experience required. Other job requirements: Full\-time (40 hours weekly), Part\-time (16\-24 hours weekly) Available to work Tuesday \- Saturday between the hours of 10am and 8:30pm, exact hours may vary (off every Sunday/Monday) Food Handler Card (King County) \- must obtain within 2 weeks of hiring Able to lift 50 lbs and stand during work shift Self\-motivated and enthusiastic Take direction from Bakery Manager Fulfill wholesale and custom orders in a timely manner, meeting daily production goals Work well with team to create backstock quantities of all products Have a great understanding of safety \& sanitation/cleaning guidelines Perks include: \-Discount on all products \-Commission bonuses for acquiring new wholesale accounts \-Flexible scheduling and laid\-back atmosphere \-Accrued PTO and Sick Leave Pay: Starting $21\.30/hour plus tips (tips average an additional $3\-$5 per hour).
