Responsible for administrative duties in addition to patient care. The Medical Assistant performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments. Typically works on semi\-routine assignments.**Job Functions** * Collaborates closely with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. Delivers direct patient care dependent on what active certification allows. * Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes, and techniques, and works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge. * You will report onsite to the Clinic Administrator at the Conviva Goliad Care Center, located at: 1567 Goliad Rd, San Antonio, TX 78223 **Use your skills to make an impact** ===================================== **Required** * You will have successfully completed MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5\+ years of experience and approval from Provider * You will have 3\+ years MA experience * You will have 1\+ year of Cardiology experience * You will have a High school diploma or equivalent * You will be CPR Certified **Preferred** * You will have Phlebotomy experience * You will have Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience. * You will be Bilingual in English and Spanish **Additional Information:** If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
