Sales Associate

**Position Overview** The Sales Associate is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience. The Sales Associate will also handle a variety of operational duties as assigned by the store management team (e.g., housekeeping duties, visual presentation standards, etc.). **Reports To:** Store Management **Essential Functions** **Customer Experience** * **Greeting Customers:** Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non\-business\-like greeting. * **First Impressions:** Create a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adherence to dress code. * **Store Standards:** Maintain a sparkling clean and organized environment by adhering to store standards and cleanliness. * **Product Information:** Provide customers with current relevant information about the product. * **Fitting Room Service:** Provide quality service in the fitting rooms, follow up with customers in a timely manner, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and attempt to add on to the sale. * **Cash Wrap Efficiency:** Provide efficient service at the cash wrap, offer Gift Cards, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and capture customer information in the database. * **Customer Appreciation:** Sincerely thank all customers for shopping at GUESS as they exit the store. **Cooperation \& Dependability** * **Task Completion:** Satisfactorily complete all duties as assigned by management. * **Punctuality:** Be punctual and adhere to the designated work schedule. * **Teamwork:** Be flexible and work well with peers and management to accomplish duties. * **Policy Adherence:** Follow GUESS Policies and Procedures 100%. * **Housekeeping:** Perform housekeeping duties as required. **Personal Performance** * **Sales Goals:** Meet or exceed the Sales per Hour (SPH) result as assigned by management. **Miscellaneous Responsibilities** * **Meetings and Functions:** Participate in and attend all store meetings and other rel
