Lead 2 and 3 year old teacher

Oakbrook Child Development Center is actively recruiting seasoned and accomplished teachers that are knowledgeable and experienced in two and three year old development and have a caring heart for young children. This position requires at least one year experience working in a licensed center. Candidates should be creative, fun loving, energetic and above all have a passion for teaching. Come join our team of amazing educators in a professional environment where you can learn and grow. **Responsibilities:** · Have a genuine love, patience, and understanding of children · Must be reliable, punctual and dedicated · Work closely with teaching team in all aspects of planning and implementing daily care and routines · Verbally engage children throughout the day in addition to incorporating play activities · Supervise children at all times during play and sleep · Ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean · Communicate effectively with parents and co\-workers · Assume responsibility for a classroom at any given time · Provide coverage for breaks for other staff members · Clean, straighten and prepare classroom for the next day · Must be able to pass a background check and all requirements of hire Must be available to work between the hours of 7:30\-6:00 **Educational Requirements:** · High school diploma or equivalent is required · CDA, Early Childhood Credential or an Associate Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education is preferred Job Type: Full\-time Pay: $16\.00 \- $17\.00 per hour Benefits: * Employee discount * Flexible schedule * Paid time off Work Location: In person
