Cook

Immediate FT opening for Cook in a small residential care community. This position is three\-four days per week from 6:30am to 5:30pm. Must relate in a positive manner to elderly dementia residents. Must be 18 years old and possess, or willing to obtain an Oregon Food Handler's Card. Must pass criminal background check and be able to work with minimal oversight. Must be able to create and follow menus, as well as create shopping lists to correspond with menus to ensure ingredients are on hand for all planned meals. Online grocery shopping skills with minimal in\-person grocery shopping. Responsible for kitchen cleanliness and following established sanitation requirements. Time management skills, safety awareness, and friendly personality is a must! Experience preferred, but willing to train the right person.
