**Job Overview** We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled PICC Nurse to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will specialize in the insertion, maintenance, and management of Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC lines), ensuring optimal patient care and safety. Your expertise will support patients across various settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and long\-term care facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply advanced nursing skills in vascular access and patient education, contributing to improved health outcomes and comfort. **Responsibilities** * Perform PICC line insertions using aseptic technique, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure * G\-tube placement * Monitor and maintain PICC lines, including dressing changes, flushing, and troubleshooting complications * Assess patients’ vascular status and determine appropriate access sites based on individual needs * Educate patients and their families on PICC line care, infection prevention, and signs of potential complications * Document all procedures accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans for patients requiring vascular access or infusion therapy * Manage emergency situations related to PICC lines, including recognizing signs of infection or thrombosis and initiating appropriate interventions **Requirements** * Valid nursing license with current certification in IV therapy and advanced practice as applicable * Proven experience in PICC line placement and maintenance within hospital or outpatient settings * Strong knowledge of aseptic technique, infection control protocols, and vascular anatomy * Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for accurate documentation * Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, critical care, or long\-term care enviro
