Barista/Server AM SHIFT

If you have a love for coffee and enjoy interacting with people, this position is perfect for you! **Responsibilities** * Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. * Operate the TOAST POS system efficiently for order taking and cash handling. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and workstations. * Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. * Assist in food preparation and ensure all food safety standards are met. * Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. * Stay knowledgeable about menu items, including seasonal offerings and promotions. **Requirements** * Previous experience in the food service or café industry is preferred but not required. * Familiarity with TOAST POS or similar point\-of\-sale systems is a plus. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. * Basic understanding of retail math for handling transactions accurately. * Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Must be able to handle food preparation tasks safely and efficiently. * A passion for coffee and knowledge of different brewing methods is highly desirable.
